The morning progressed quickly through handling and evasive running skills until lunch. After lunch the players were moved through several decision making drills to prepare them for the small sided games to finish off the rest of Saturday.
This was a great opportunity for our players to further develop their rugby skills and comprehension of tactics. It allowed them to compete with others of the same skill level and learn new ways of thinking about the game. Besides skills, it also increased their understanding of the importance of communication on the field as very few players knew each other.
